Laptop repair specialists, Evernet Support, asked me to make a short promotional video for them to use on their website and social media site.
I spent a day in Swansea, where the business is based, with the lead technician, Jon May. After a short interview and a few shots around the town I put this short promo video together.

What seems like a long time ago, before I was really involved in the media, I helped out a friend do some filming of an event in Bristol. It was for a the Charity, Childrens Hospice South West. The event was the Midnight Memory Walk – A seven mile, ladies only, circular walk at Midnight through Bristol City Centre.
Time past and my friend was very busy so nothing came of the footage we got on that day.

I have been very busy recently, work and play. In amongst working for the Outer edge as a rigger/saftey person on a number of high profile charity events and spending a few days down in Cornwall surfing, I have been trying to edit the footage from my trip to Sweden earlier this summer. It is going quite well. I really want to get it into a film festival and there is one where the deadline is the 30th of this month.

As some of you may know, I was recently out in Sweden for two weeks of paddling and filming. What a trip! I met a friend of mine, Dennis out there.
It was my first time in Sweden, and I really enjoyed it. My first thoughts after being picked up from Trondheim Airport (Norway) was the roads were so straight! I think they only put bends in them to stop you falling a sleep! Oh, and the reindeer keep you on your toes a

I have been getting various different bits if kit recently,
My latest purchases are a nice tripod and a nice rucksack. Nothing uber flashy just very good quality functional items that are essential to any prospective film maker.
I deliberated for a long time over which tripod to go for. I wanted to get something reliable, that wasn’t going to break in 5 minutes; something that is stable, but most importatly l

For the second year running now I filmed the Children’s Hospice South West’s Corporate Challenge. This event takes teams from companies across the South West as they compete against each other in a team-building adventure. Activities this year included, canoeing, mountain biking, zip-slides, orienteering and many problem solving tasks. The event was run by the Outer Edge and took place at Wimbleball Lake on th

Lots of stuff happening recently thought it was time for an update.
First off, I am so psyched for a trip I have coming up very soon. Some of you already know but, in about a week I am off to Scandinavia for my first big filming project. I am spending two weeks over there travelling across Northern Norway and Sweden, following some of Sweden’s best paddlers. I am tagging along with friend and L5 coach, Dennis

A friend posted a link to a video on my facebook the other day. It was brilliant. Here’s is the link if you want to check it out.

In this video, there are a number of shots where the camera appears to move. On TV programs and Hollywood films you would expect these type of shots. The whole camera and its tripod are mounted on wheels and is slid along a track. It is unusual to see thi
